“Your voice, your song is your unique contribution to the weave of Creation.” Starting from this premise, Minna Bromberg helps people –both as individuals and communities– find their voices and connect to their truest selves. A singer, songwriter, and voice teacher — as well as a certified Jewish meditation teacher — Minna brings a broad range of skills to this Holy work.
Minna has served as a cantorial soloist in a variety of Jewish communities and is currently studying for rabbinic ordination at Hebrew College –a unique transdenominational program headed Rabbi Arthur Green, one of the world’s preeminent authorities on Jewish thought and spirituality. She has lead workshops on “Voice and Torah” for the National Havurah Committee’s Summer Institute, the Rhode Isand Jewish Healing Center, and BIMA (Brandeis’ Summer Arts Institute for High School Students). Her interest in the paths people find to the voicing of their spirit through Jewish community also found expression in her doctoral work where she wrote a dissertation studying identity construction in interfaith families.
Minna strives to create spaces which lovingly welcome all voices. Her most basic imperative/ציווי and starting point comes from The Song of Songs: “!השמיעני את קולך/Let me hear your voice!”
